Between 1990 and 2016, the collection was enriched with 3055 items of traditional art, architecture, furniture and contemporary art. At the present, the traditional costumes collection contains 1586 items, the interior textiles collection 1206 items, and the contemporary art collection 1116 items, 3908 objects in total.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><b>The traditional costumes collection<\/b> is divided into 4 categories: the Romanian costume (1445 pieces), the Saxon costume (86 pieces), the Hungarian costume (49 pieces), the gypsy costume (6 pieces).<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The traditional skirts collection includes black cloth skirts embroidered in floral motifs with black silk, some with Moldavian influences, wore in the Toplita area but also on the Gurghiu and Beica Valley. The Romanian interior textiles (1006 objects) include the following categories: towels \u2013 adorned at the margins with geometrical and floral motifs, used as adornments for the interior walls in the traditional household; the funeral towels, with discrete adornments and austere colors (black, blue) or towels for daily use. They were all gathered from all the research areas of the museum, more than 40 villages but also from villages outside the research area \u2013 from Timis, Sibiu, Buzau, Bistrita, Cluj.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-149\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Clipboard01-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"807\" height=\"176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Clipboard01-1.jpg 807w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Clipboard01-1-300x65.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Clipboard01-1-768x167.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Clipboard01-1-250x55.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Clipboard01-1-150x33.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 807px) 100vw, 807px\" \/><\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><b>The trades collections: wood, leather and metal, agriculture, shepherding, hunting and fishing<\/b><\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The museum&#8217;s collections are thematically structured in categories: woodcraft, agriculture, shepherding, hunting, fishing.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The woodcraft collections contain the hope chests collection (25 pieces), the tables collection, the chairs collection, the furniture pieces collection, the pegs collection, the tools collection, the musical instruments collection and the hardware collection.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The viniculture collection contains baskets for grapes and barrels. There is also the tools collection \u2013 axes, chainsaws, used for woodcutting.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Another <span lang=\"ro-RO\">important<\/span> category is the occupations sector, containing 14 collections, 989 items: shepherding (121 objects); agriculture (123 objects), fruit picking (30 objects); fishing (23 objects); hunting (23 objects); viniculture (8 objects); woodcutting (13 objects); food domestic industry (22 objects); hardware (192 objects); textiles (190 objects); transport (77 objects); customs (144 objects); apiculture (21 objects).<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The textile domestic industry is well represented, with over 190 objects, including looms and distaffs.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The apiculture is one of the most ancient occupations in this area. This collection includes 21 items, mostly tools used in this trade but also candles made of wax.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-150 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/e-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/e-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/e-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/e-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/e-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.muzeulreghin.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/e-150x113.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><b>The ceramic collections<\/b><\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The Romanian ceramic tradition is very old. In time, it was influenced by the Roman, Greek and Byzantine ceramic. All these influences can be found in the traditional Romanian ceramic, adapted to the personal tastes of the people from this area. In Transylvania, alongside the Romanian ceramic, we also find the Hungarian and Saxon ceramic. The museum owns an important collection of ceramic objects \u2013 1818 pieces, divided into 7 collections: the plates collection, the cups collection, the pots collection, the black ceramic, in rolls, from Deda.<\/p><p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The plates collection is the biggest \u2013 829 objects.
